From the moment Carol ‘borrowed’ a gothic romance from her sister, she was hooked. Several years later, she decided to write the books she loved to read. After finishing her first book and sending it into a contest, she received terrible scores and realized writing a good novel was a lot harder than it looked. Carol quickly bounced back and wrote two more short contemporary romances.

Carol is a two-time finalist in the Golden Heart Contest of Romance Writers of America and has won 1st place in the Emily Contest for best paranormal romance. She has also finaled and won several other contests.

She loves writing about ordinary people who find themselves thrust into extraordinary circumstances. When she’s not writing, she’s working as a paralegal, and meeting her critique group for martinis.
