J.K. Coi lives in Ontario, Canada with her amazingly supportive husband and son. She graduated university with a degree in history and in law, and has worked for many years in the legal field, with a current focus in litigation.

Writing has always been an important part of her life, and when she leaves the office, she leaves all the contracts and clients and courtroom drama behind to immerse herself in a world of fantasy—of demons and magic, fascinating warriors and the women strong enough to love them.
