WHEN A MARQUIS CHOOSES A BRIDE & signed print givewaway with Ella Quinn

Dominic, Marquis of Merton, settled into his apartment at the Pulteney Hotel. His pride still stung at having been ejected from his cousin, Matt Worthington’s, town house. Blowing a cloud was the latest thing. Not that Dom would attempt to smoke in White’s, that was not allowed, but he outranked Worthington and should have been treated as an honored guest, not summarily told to leave. Still, it was probably convenient that Dom did not actually enjoy smoking, as he was sure the Pulteney would not allow it either.

He should have gone on his Grand Tour instead of taking a bolt to Town. But his mother had received a letter informing her of his cousin’s plans to wed, and he decided starting his own nursery would be the most responsible course. After all, the succession would not look after itself, and he had a duty to his family and dependents. Perhaps he would travel after he married.

Not that Dom truly wished to leave England. He liked an ordered life and travel was sure to disrupt the structure with which he was comfortable. He did not wish to visit France at all. Any land where the inhabitants would murder their betters held little interest for him. It all came back to the proper order of things. Life was much better when everyone followed the rules and knew their places.

He reconsidered opening up Merton House for the Season, but there was really no point when his mother was not here as well. Without her to act as his hostess, he would not be able to plan any entertainments other than for his friends. The hotel would  suit for the short time he planned to spend in Town. It should not take him that long to find a wife. He was a marquis. Even without his considerable fortune, he would have been a desirable parti.

When A Marquis Chooses A Bride (The Worthingtons, Book 2)

Thanks to their large extended family and unconventional courtship, the Worthingtons have seen their share of scandal and excitement. But nothing has prepared them for this…

The Dowager Lady Worthington isn’t quite sure what to make of country-girl Dorothea Stern. As the granddaughter of the Duke of Bristol, Dotty is schooled in the ways and means of the nobility. But her sharp wit and outspoken nature has everyone in a tizzy. Especially their cousin, Dominic, the Marquis of Merton.
Prematurely stuffy, Dom was raised by his cheerless uncle to be wary of a host of things, including innovation, waltzing, and most perilous of all: true love. Still, there’s something about Dotty, beyond her beauty, that Dom cannot resist. But the odds are against him if he intends to win her as his bride. Will he choose loyalty to his family—or risk everything for the one woman he believes is his perfect match…

An Interview with Marcus, Earl of Haversham from HEART OF DESIRE

What is your name?  Marcus, Earl of Haversham. My family name is Stowe, but I’m usually called Lord Haversham.

Do you have a nickname? No, thank God. I have enough names as it is.

Who is your best friend? My best friend is Nathan, Lord Ainsley. He is the brother of Miss Katherine Locke.

What kinds of things do you do when you’re together? We were in school together, so we’ve done a lot of different activities. The one we engage in mostly these days is a friendly game of cards.

If you have a family, how do you get along with them? I have three younger sisters with whom I get along very well. Our father recently died, leaving me as their guardian. My sister Letitia has just come out this Season and I have been chaperoning her to various dances and events. I do tend to be a bit overprotective of her.

Do you have a birthmark? Scars? Where is it/are they? How did you get it/them? No, I’m afraid I’m just rather ordinary that way. Although perhaps a dueling scar might make me a bit more dashing.

When you’re angry, what do you do? I usually lash out with sarcasm. I love nothing more than a war of words to release my frustrations.

Where do you go? Usually no place special. I’d rather stand and face the object of my anger, as I said, with a scathing verbal rebuttal.  How do you deal with your anger? If that doesn’t work, whiskey usually will.

If you had to make me a meal right now, without going to the store, what would you find in your refrigerator to feed us? I’m not sure what the object is you are speaking of, but I would likely simply ring for the butler, and have cook make us dinner. There’s always chops and vegetables to be had.

What’s the one thing you’re afraid of losing? My reputation.

What makes you laugh out loud? Oddly enough, Miss Katherine Locke makes me laugh quite a lot.Has anyone broken your heart? Until recently the answer to that question would be no. However, Miss Locke has managed to take my heart and run it through a vise. She is the most aggravating, shrewish, beautiful, witty woman I have ever met. She is also my best friend’s sister.

What’s the one thing you want out of life that you don’t think you can have? Miss Locke as my wife.

Why can’t you have it? Well, I think you’ll really have to read the book to find that out.

Follow your heart to find your desire.

Miss Katherine Locke is irked to start her third season dancing with the disagreeable Lord Haversham, her brother’s friend and her own arch enemy. After three years out, however, she’s finally interested in the dashing Lord Finley—only to find out her cousin has set her cap for him too. To make the man jealous, Kate feigns interest in Lord Haversham, only to be shocked to find the handsome lord apparently falling for her. With time running out, should she accept his suit and risk falling in love despite herself?

Marcus, Lord Haversham, is in a tight pinch. His estates are failing and worse, he’s just lost three thousand pounds to his best friend, Lord Ainsley. Ainsley’s solution: have Marcus marry his shrewish sister and he’ll cancel his gambling debt plus give him ten thousand more pounds for her dowry. With nowhere to turn, Marcus agrees, praying he can keep word of the wager from Miss Locke long enough to charm her into marrying him. But can he avoid falling in love himself?

Interview with Elsie Beauregard of HER COUNTRY MASTER by Anya Summers

  1. What is your name? Do you have a nickname?

My name is Elise Beauregard. No nicknames. My parents didn’t believe in them.

  1. Who is your best friend? What kinds of things do you do when you’re together?

Kara Lowe. We love going to wine bars or staying in for a girl’s night with romantic comedies, a bevy of chocolate offerings, and a few bottles of wine. Although here lately, Kara’s been taking me to the Dungeon Fantasy Club. It’s a BDSM Club in Manhattan and all I can say is wow! It makes me blush just thinking about what I’ve witnessed.

  1. If you have a family, how do you get along with them? If you don’t, are there people in your life that you consider family? How do you get along with them?

My parents. We get along just fine. Well I do with mom anyway. Dad can be a little difficult at times. He’s from the good old boys club way of thinking so he and I have a tendency to butt heads a bit. They live in Kentucky so we don’t see each other that often.

  1. Do you have a birthmark? Scars? Where is it/are they? How did you get it/them?

No birthmarks or scars. Kind of makes me a plain jane. I can pick stuff up off the floor with my toes and hand them to you though.

  1. When you’re angry, what do you do? Where do you go? How do you deal with your anger?

Tums. I have a oodles of tums. When I’m stressed or angry, I tend to reach for the nearest bottle and start popping them. I do yoga as well, but most times tums are what do the trick for me.

  1. If you had to make me a meal right now, without going to the store, what would you find in your refrigerator to feed us?

Lately, I haven’t had much of an appetite with my stress and tums habit. I usually have fruit and veggies, probably some eggs, cheese, and soup. I like to cook. It’s just lately nothing has been very appetizing.

  1. What’s the one thing you’re afraid of losing?

My career, my ability to support myself. And right now it’s in a rather precarious position.

  1. What makes you laugh out loud?

The stylings of Monty Python.

  1. Has anyone broken your heart? Who was s/he?

They’ve all broken my heart because men don’t buy damaged goods.

  1. What’s the one thing you want out of life that you don’t think you can have? Why can’t you have it?

I want a baby and a family of my own. But I’d settle for a man that wants to stay around even though I’m damaged goods.

With the encouragement of her best friend Kara, Elise Beauregard, an avowed urbanite, has begun to test the waters of the BDSM lifestyle at the Dungeon Fantasy Club in Manhattan.

Elise – a wedding dress designer on the verge of a total career meltdown, thanks to a particularly vicious former client – finds herself entranced by the scenes at the club, leaving her with a desire to explore the lifestyle herself. Unfortunately, she wouldn’t even know where to begin.

When she is hired to design the gown for the club owner’s fiancée, Elise jumps at the chance. Declan and Zoey’s nuptials are slated to be the wedding of the year, and this is the lifetime opportunity she’s been waiting for, even if she does have to fly to Scotland to take advantage of it. If she gets this dress right, her career might just be saved after all.

Tyler Jenson is a billionaire rancher and Dom who invests not only in his own future, but also that of the planet. His ranch on the Kansas and Colorado border was one of the first in the state to adopt clean, sustainable energy technology. His other passion is the D/s lifestyle; not only is Tyler a hedonist, he needs a woman’s submission in order to feel complete. Unfortunately, there aren’t many submissives in his neck of the woods, so when he receives a wedding invitation from his best friend Declan, he’s only too delighted to accept. Declan is a co-founder of the Dungeon Fantasy Club, with a branch in the basement of his Scottish manor, so Tyler decides to fly in early for an extended stay.

After a scorching night with Elise, the dominant alpha male in Tyler recognizes she might just be the girl for him. He can only hope she feels the same way.

But Elise has other things on her mind. Not only is she in Scotland to design the most important wedding gown of her career, she also harbors a dark and painful secret which prevents her from getting too close to any man. Including Tyler.

Can Tyler, the country Dom, convince the certified city girl to trade bright lights for starry nights? Or will her secret destroy their happiness before it’s even begun?

Publisher’s Note: Her Country Master is the fifth book in Anya Summers’ best-selling Dungeon Fantasy Club series – however, like all the rest, it can be read as a standalone.

Disclaimer: This book contains explicit scenes including anal, spanking, and other BDSM elements. If such material offends you, please do not purchase.
