MR Review Cowboy Games by Wendi Darlin It’s been a year since Todd Ryder died before he could fulfill his last promise to his wife Rebecca. Rebecca is ready to start moving on, but she wants to live out her last fantasy that her husband promised her first.   Enter Gavin Carter and the Fantasy Ranch, were women can go to be romanced by their dream cowboy for one week. There are only two rules:         1)   No Sex  2) No contact or attempted contact after the week.     Gavin is used to doing whatever it takes to make the guests feel special, within reason, but Rebecca is different. First of all she won’t play the game and second he is fighting his own attraction to Rebecca, which makes following the rules hard to do. Can Gavin help Rebecca put her past behind her? Can Rebecca help Gavin get through his own troubles? Or will outside forces tear them apart?   Cowboy Games is a well written, fun book. It has strong characters that have some serious sizzle going on. I really enjoyed the off beat sense of humor, after all what woman wouldn’t enjoy cabins named Sugar, Darlin’ and Honey? A most enjoyable first book from Ms. Darlin. I wonder what she’ll come up with next.
