MR Review
DOG NANNY by Ann Whitaker Julie Shields is a vet tech who will not let any dog go bad. Yet at this time she is debating whether to give up on the Esposito’s poodles. She knows they can be good but her boss is getting on her nerves. Each time she tries to help Carmen gets in the way. Nacho and Blanco are great poodles but she is also distracted by another person. He is the reason why she feels crazy one moment then anger each time he is near. Nick Worthington is definitely a man she could get used to but each time she wants to know more about him he teases. Julie is unsure what is happening or if he is for real. A pilot at their disposal is great but she feels like Berto Esposito and Nick are hiding something big from her. Can she control the two poodles or will it be the end of a marriage?
Ah, Dog Nanny was truly a comedy story filled with suspense in a somewhat comedy way and two poodles who were hilarious throughout the book. I loved that Nacho and Blanco were like two children having fun and Julie was trying so hard to control them to be obedient poodles. The chemistry between her and Nick was great too. Added to that was her fear that he might be into drug trafficking added additional humor. Dog Nanny is definitely a great book to pick up. |
