In the erotic universe created by hot new talent Lauren Dane, passion knows no rank...
Fifteen Families rule the Federated Universes—and Abbie Haws has spent her life battling the system. She's always been too driven to pay much attention to love. But when she meets Roman Lyons, Head of House Lyons, who stands for everything she hates, Abbie's attraction catches her off-guard...
Their world, Ravena, revolves around born leader Roman, who dreads meeting this defiant— if stunning—rabble-rouser. But sometimes headstrong personalities that collide in public become hot-and-heavy, guilty trysts in private.

Ravena is the heart of the Federated Universes and Roman Lyons rules Ravena, everyone knows that, which is why Attorney Abbie Hawes is determined to sway Roman to her way of thinking. After all there are way more unranked people in the Universes than those that belonged to the fifteen Families that make the rules. If a person is required to fight for their world, pay taxes and be a constructive member of society they should have a say in how it is run shouldn't they? They should have the same protection under the law shouldn't they? The current cloud over the Families gives Abbie a perfect platform to launch the campaign for changes that her group has been fighting for, into the public eye. Roman just wants Abbie and her group to go away quietly so that he can deal with the repercussions of the treasonous acts that certain Families have committed without having his every move scrutinized by the press. But Abbie is determined to give a voice to the unranked and her meetings with Roman lead them both down a new path. Can two people from very different places forge a new world where they can be together?
Lauren Dane's Relentless is spectacular. The sequel to Undercover, Relentless continues to lead the reader through the worlds of the privileged upper class and the downtrodden unranked to a place where opposites meet in harmony. Hitting on all the old hot buttons that caused our country to be formed, Ms. Dane handles the subject of class distinction and political equality with a deft touch. The characters are, as in all of Ms. Dane's books, absolutely brilliantly written. I loved Abbie, strong and steady but tender on the inside, and always ready to do what is best for others but not afraid to stand up for what she wants. Roman is great, a not so typical alpha male character; one who admits when he is wrong and puts his heart, soul and power on the line for the woman he loves. A wonderful story, I hope to read more from this world soon.
