Pastor Noah Kincaid lost his wife a year ago. He doesn’t know what to do with his life now. When he sees a church on Ebay, Noah feels that this is a calling from God. Noah buys the church and heads to Virgin River.
Ellie Baldwin has thirty days to turn her life around and prove to the judge that she deserves her children back. Ellie made some bad choices in her life like…being a stripper and marrying a bad man. When Ellie sees an ad for a secretary for a church, she knows this job would prove she has changed.
Noah can’t believe his eyes. The first time he laid eyes on Ellie, she was wearing a short skirt. Noah isn’t sure about Ellie but he takes a chance on her and hires her. What will people think when they discover that Ellie was a former stripper? Virgin River is about to heat up fast.
I absolutely love all the people of Virgin River. They are like my second family. I have pretty much devoured every book in this series including Forbidden Falls. Robyn Carr puts the petal to the metal and shoots for gold, every time. I thought the concept of a pastor and a former stripper working and growing together was good. Not everyone is perfect as Noah learns. He and Ellie are a match made in heaven. They mesh well together. The best part about these books is that I get to meet new characters but at the same time visit with old one. I am anxiously awaiting Angel’s Peal, the next Virgin River book.
